The climate for innovation in the Netherlands is facing challenges. This is the primary conclusion of the Dutch Innovation Monitor 2023 and headlines a recent urgent letter sent by FME – supported by other parties – to the Parliament. Many companies are experiencing difficulties due to macro-economic disruptions, leading to delayed investments in innovation. However, there are still ample opportunities.
