Providing perfect work, that's what counts

People in the food processing industry probably know him: Jack Pluim. For years he was known as 'Jack the Kitter'. Replacing sealants in renovation projects with clean new ones: that was - and still is - one of his specialties. In the more than 25 years that his company JacKit has existed, one thing has never changed: Jack wants to deliver quality.

He prefers to be 'with both feet on the ground', as he says himself. Those who meet him, soon become familiar with his famous expression: 'Don't bullshit, but clean'. Delivering perfect work, that's what counts. He knows like no other the challenges the food industry has to deal with. Thanks to his many years of experience in the industry, he knows that downtime costs money and that a '9 to 5' mentality does not work, especially in renovation projects. "We work seven days a week, on weekends, holidays and also at night. I am present at every job, so I know what is going on on the worksite. Together with the more than 25 experts I employ, we do everything to prevent downtime for our customers. And if there is no other way, we do everything we can to keep it as short as possible."

When he read in this trade journal last year that a new sustainable material was on the market for wall and ceiling panels, he immediately called Ernest Conradi, manager of Sealwise Nederland, to explore the possibilities for an exclusive collaboration. "That worked out well," he says happily. "There is currently no better material on the market than Sealwise WCB, therefore that's what I wanted to use. A big plus is that the panels are antibacterial through and through, including the top layer, and antiviral throughout. It is 100% waterproof and falls under fire class Bs1d0. It is anti-static and excellent for printing. And above all, it is sustainable: not only because it is strong and has a long lifespan, but also because it is produced from recycled PVC and is fully recyclable at the end of its use. All products are internally tested and manufactured to meet the requirements set out in HEA9, BREEAM 2008 and HEA 02 under BREEAM 2011. I have already had the opportunity to use Sealwise for a number of clients, we are all very pleased with it. On to the next assignment!"
