Water Innovator of the Year 2017

The company Pathema based in Tilburg, The Netherlands, has been named Water Innovator of the Year 2017 at the Watervisie Congres 2017 conference in Rotterdam, beating off competition from other innovators such as Willy Verstraete, Royal HaskoningDHV and Thermfilly. Pathema is focused on chemical-free cold-water treatment. With its IVG-C CoolWater technology, the firm has previously won the Proces Innovatie Prijs (national award for process innovation). “Our treatment process is free of chemicals and reduces energy and water consumption,” explains company director Marc Boeren with pride. “The Skid contains all the components and equipment for completely sustainable operation of the cooling tower or evaporative condenser.” The customised ‘green’ solutions facilitated and designed by the company soon pay for themselves.
