Koninklijke Vezet, a leading producer of fresh convenience vegetable and fruit products, has begun construction on a new production facility in Warmenhuizen. This expansion is driven by growing demand from customers such as Albert Heijn and Delhaize. "In order to continue meeting the increasing demand for tasty and healthy convenience products, expanding our production capacity is essential," the company stated.
The new production facility, located opposite the existing site, will cover 35,000 m² and will be dedicated to producing ready-to-eat salads, fresh meals, pizzas, and innovative convenience products based on fresh vegetables. The factory is expected to be operational by the end of 2026, positioning Vezet for the future of convenience food.
Koninklijke Vezet is part of the Kramer Food Family, one of the largest European players in the fresh-cut vegetable and fruit sector. The family-owned company operates 11 production sites across six countries and offers more than 1,000 different products. With around 4,200 employees, Kramer Food Family continues to focus on innovation and growth within the European fresh food market.
