During TechniShow & ESEF Maakindustrie (March 10–13, 2026, Royal Jaarbeurs), the focus is not only on technological innovation and supply chain collaboration, but also on the people behind the industry. Two new main stage program segments place diversity and strategic leadership center stage.
On Thursday morning, Vrouwen in de Maak will focus on inspiration, connection, and visibility. This program brings together women working in the manufacturing industry — from experienced professionals and entrepreneurs to students and career switchers.
Initiator Marjorie Woudenberg (Women in Technology) will deliver a keynote on personal leadership and the impact of gender diversity on team dynamics. Her message: sustainable change is not just about attracting new talent, but above all about creating a work environment where people feel seen and heard.
Following the keynote, female leaders from the field will share their experiences during a panel discussion. Topics such as leadership, opportunities, and visibility within technical organizations will be addressed in depth. The morning will conclude with a networking session.
On Friday morning, retired General Mart de Kruif will speak about leadership, international cooperation, and strategic decision-making in uncertain times. Drawing on examples from his military career, he translates geopolitical developments into lessons for the manufacturing industry: agility, innovative strength, and effective collaboration within complex supply chains.
With these program segments, TechniShow & ESEF Maakindustrie underscores that the future of the industry is shaped not only by technology, but also by vision, collaboration, and talent.
