Peter Konijn B.V., based in Alkmaar, is embarking on a broad renewal of its automation systems. The company, active in the processing and trading of meat products, will partner with paSys Food Automating. The project goes beyond the implementation of a new ERP system. The entire IT environment, ranging from production and office automation to network management and telephony, will be managed by a single provider. This gives Peter Konijn one central point of contact for all automation-related matters.
The decision to choose paSys was not based solely on technology. An existing working relationship also played a role. Maaikel Bontekoning and Roy Meenderink have worked successfully together in the past. That experience provided an important foundation of trust for the new project.
“It is important to us that everything works together seamlessly. Not only the software, but our entire automation environment. With paSys, we have one partner that understands the complete picture and can manage it as well. Roy and I have known each other for quite some time, and we know what to expect from one another. That gave us the confidence to take this step together,” says Maaikel Bontekoning.
In the coming period, the existing system will be replaced by paSys ERP. At the same time, the IT infrastructure will be modernized. This includes workstations, production hardware, networks, security and VoIP telephony.
According to paSys, the combination of software, hardware and management provides a future-ready foundation for further growth and digitalization. By bringing all automation activities under one provider, companies gain full control over their environment while reducing their dependence on multiple suppliers.
With this partnership, paSys Food Automating reinforces its position as a full-service partner within the food sector. The focus extends beyond software alone to the complete automation environment of food companies.
