Kroon Vlees is replacing its outdated software system and has selected paSys Food Automatisering. With this step, the meat processor is advancing further digitalization and a future-proof setup of its production environment.

Kroon Vlees has been operating since 1870 and focuses on slaughtering, processing, and distributing meat. The company works with cattle, pigs, and lambs. Large volumes move through the process daily, requiring accurate registration, weighing, and labeling.

Reliability, speed, and customer-focused delivery are essential. The need to modernize processes and further automate the shop floor led to the choice of a new ERP platform.

Full replacement and cloud solution

After an assessment and several discussions, paSys ERP was selected. This system has been specifically developed for the food industry.

The transition involves a full replacement of the existing system. Data, documents, layouts, and labels will be migrated and converted. New modules will also be implemented that go beyond the capabilities of the current system.

Kroon Vlees is also opting for a SaaS solution with a transition to the cloud. The platform includes features such as inventory management with shelf-life tracking and real-time traceability on the shop floor. It also provides integrations for purchasing and sales, track & trace on carriers, and a connection with Exact Online. The implementation is supported by a ‘train the trainer’ approach and full project guidance.
