De Waal Vers chooses DNA Services as IT partner

Over the past few years, the fresh food wholesaler has continued to expand, increasing the need for a stable IT environment as well. For its complete IT management and cybersecurity, the family-owned company now works together with DNA Services.

Growth requires continuity

De Waal Vers has been a well-known name within the fresh food sector for years. The family business supplies a broad assortment to fresh food specialists. From cold cuts and fresh meat to salads, pâtés, and deli products.

At the same time, the company kept investing in expansion. In 2019, it acquired the Gelderblom franchise formula. That network now includes 25 stores. De Waal Vers also acquired De With Vleeswaren. A new artisanal sausage production facility was then set up at a new location in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht.

That growth also brought new IT requirements. De Waal Vers therefore started looking for a partner with experience in production and trading companies within the food industry. In the end, the company selected DNA Services.

Focus on security

DNA Services supports De Waal Vers with automated patch management, monitoring, and various security solutions, among other things. Scalability and continuity also play an important role in the partnership.

More than thirty years of experience

DNA Services was founded in 1994 from the IT department of a manufacturing company. Today, the company supports customers with network and server management, workplace management, and cloud migration.
