Moonen Packaging achieves B Corp certification

Moonen Packaging may call itself 'B Corporation' since December 2022: an impactful company that shows that, as a business, you can make social and sustainable impact and be a commercially successful company. The B Corp certificate is the result of a months-long assessment. With this certification, Moonen Packaging shows that it is among the leaders in the field of sustainability and social responsibility. The company thus joins +/- 6,000 companies worldwide, 184 of which are in the Netherlands.

The B Corp™ certification fits in well with Moonen Packaging's mission to be CO2 neutral by the end of 2026. Hans Houtappels, CEO of Moonen Packaging: "Sustainability is in Moonen Packaging's DNA. As a company, we consider it important to pursue value for people and the environment and we want to make a concrete contribution to a better world for future generations. As far as we are concerned, working towards a co2 neutral economy is not an aspiration, but a must."
