Liberty composite air handling units

  • 14 April 2025

Well-conditioned and clean air: an absolute requirement for the food industry. Thanks to their unique properties, our Liberty air handling units are successfully used in this demanding sector.

The design of the fully composite construction complies with VDI 6022 hygiene guidelines. The smooth PET inner wall lining and seals are foodproof-certified and allow for chemical cleaning. Custom-built systems ensure proper humidity control and temperature regulation. With the appropriate choice of built-in filter (up to filter class H14), challenges such as cross-contamination can be prevented. Liberty composite air handling units are also fully corrosion-resistant (CX Extreme above C5i / C5m), meet thermal classes T1/TB1 (EN 1886, condensation-free), and are exceptionally lightweight (up to 40% less).

Sustainable through Life Cycle Cost analysis

A hygienic plastic air handling unit with a Eurovent A energy label is a good start for achieving low energy costs for your facility. To determine the most suitable configuration for your project, the Life Cycle Cost calculation provided by Binnenklimaat Nederland offers great certainty. It makes it easy to compare up to three different air handling systems per calculation in terms of energy, maintenance, and investment costs. Our consultants are happy to assist.
