Tomato producer RedStar in De Lier is able to perform fully automatic 100% weight checks on its shakers and tubs of tomatoes. Using the new-generation ES-W-5000 checkweigher from Espera gives RedStar better insight into the packaged contents. The checkweigher ensures that the producer does not overfill the packs and that consumers get value for money. The simple user interface and compact design made it easy to integrate the system into the RedStar packaging line.
