Only 47% of Dutch consumers recognize the European organic label Euroleaf. That is according to research by the Food Research Institute. For the Polish Chamber of Organic Food (PIŻE), this has prompted a campaign aimed at increasing awareness of organically certified products.
On May 18 and 19, PIŻE launched the European Organic – Enjoy, Discover and Share campaign. To mark the launch, the industry organization hosted two events in Amsterdam. Organic food, sustainability, and conscious living were central themes.
According to PIŻE, the European food market is changing. “Consumers are making increasingly conscious choices, forcing producers and retailers to reassess their product ranges and supply chains.” The organization stresses that organic food is more than a trend. These products are produced without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
Through the campaign, PIŻE aims to support the development of the organic food sector in countries including the Netherlands and France. A key objective is to increase awareness of the Euroleaf label, the official European certification mark for organic products.
The organization also wants to strengthen cooperation between organic producers in the Netherlands, France, and Poland. According to PIŻE, organic food represents quality, authenticity, care for the planet, and a return to nature.
The campaign also highlights Poland’s position within the European food supply chain. According to PIŻE, the country offers high-quality raw materials, a strong production infrastructure, and competitive production costs.
PIŻE therefore presents Poland as a reliable and strategic link in the European food supply chain. The organization also points to the growth of private label, particularly within the organic and plant-based segments.
The campaign is being carried out by the Polish Chamber of Organic Food with financial support from the European Union.
