Bonduelle Netherlands achieves B Corp™ certification

  • 07 October 2024

Bonduelle, the world’s leading vegetable brand, has earned B Corp™ certification in the Netherlands. This prestigious recognition highlights the company’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. It reflects Bonduelle’s ongoing efforts to contribute to a better world, not only through its products but also through responsible business practices.

Strict requirements for certification

The B Corp™ certification is awarded to companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance. Bonduelle Netherlands underwent a thorough evaluation, assessing its impact on areas such as the environment, employees, and the community. Alongside the Netherlands, countries like France, Denmark, and Germany have also achieved this certification, meaning that 80% of Bonduelle's global revenue now falls under the B Corp™ standard.

Sustainable initiatives and goals

To meet these certification requirements, Bonduelle has made significant strides. The company is actively involved in promoting plant-based diets and accelerating the adoption of regenerative farming practices. With the establishment of the Bonduelle Farm Academy, the company supports its partners in making this transition. Bonduelle aims for 80% of its partner farmers to adopt regenerative agriculture by 2030. Additionally, the company is working to increase employee engagement, with a target of achieving a 75% engagement rate by 2025.
