More and more companies are also involved in sustainability and the circular economy. This year there was enormous interest from the business community in taking part in the National Clean-up Day in cooperation with Nederland Schoon.

Litter survey

All participants were asked to use the Litterati app to register the litter found. This collection of data is used for research into litter, which includes looking for structural, effective solutions. In addition, the data will be shared with businesses that can take concrete action on it, specifically in the field of litter. For example, deploying an extra employee to pick up litter or entering into partnerships with municipalities to join forces for a clean neighbourhood.
