Vandersterre and Mariënwaerdt join forces

Vandersterre, a private cheese trade company known for brands such as Landana, Prima Donna, and Bastiaansen, and Landgoed Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt, a family estate since 1734 with organic operations including the production and sale of organic cheese specialties, will collaborate from January 1, 2024, to strengthen the position of organic cheese.

Vandersterre will focus on the aging, packaging, sales, marketing, and distribution of the cheese specialties from Landgoed Mariënwaerdt in its modern facilities in Bodegraven, Meerkerk, and Grootebroek. Additionally, Vandersterre will organize and coordinate the production of the specialties. As a result of this collaboration, Vandersterre will take over the production, aging, and sales activities of Mariënwaerdt.

The Van Verschuer family will remain involved to ensure the quality and brand identity of their specialties in the market, and with this collaboration, they create the space to invest in the future of the estate.
