On April 16 and 17, IB Food-Machines opened the doors of its impressive demo facility in Urk for two inspiring demo days themed “Sawing & Portioning.” With live demonstrations of cutting technology, freshly prepared products, and plenty of opportunities for networking, the event drew a wide audience of food professionals from across the Netherlands.
Visitors had the chance to witness the power and precision of solutions such as the Borncut portioning systems and various sawing machines in action. Not only could they see firsthand how effortlessly meat and fish were processed, the “Try before you buy” approach was put into practice: several companies took the opportunity to run extensive tests on the machines.
In addition to the technical demonstrations, there was time for personal advice from specialists, informal conversations with other industry professionals, and of course, food and drinks—freshly prepared, straight from machine to plate. IB Food-Machines looks back on these successful days with pride.
“This is exactly what our demo room is for,” said Jeroen van Ooijen. “To inspire and inform companies, and to let them experience for themselves what the right technology can mean for their production.”
