On an industrial estate in Nieuw-Vennep, machines are now running to produce bitterballen and kroketten. But this isn’t your average factory. It’s the result of a shared ambition between Cas & Kas, GRO and SnackWize. Together, they’ve launched the Snackwise Collective—a new player aiming to challenge the snack industry as we know it. Led by Jesse ’t Lam, Edwin Hak, Cas de Weerd and Kasper Luiten, the focus is on building a new standard rooted in taste and sustainability.
Their approach is straightforward: convince people with great snacks, not with lectures. Cas & Kas and GRO have each been doing this in their own way for years. Now, they’ve joined forces, with a dedicated facility and a clear direction. The snacks are plant-based, circular, or hybrid, and are produced on a large scale without compromising on quality or experience.
Snackwise Collective is setting the bar high. Not just with their own brands, but also as a partner for other labels and concepts. They’ve invested in space, people, and machinery. The team brings experience from companies like Holtkamp, Oma Bob’s, Van Geloven, and Topking. In March 2025, they acquired Lodewyck Gourmet—a strategic move to support further growth.
The factory offers plenty of room for development and custom production. That makes the collective an attractive partner for those looking to make their snack offerings more sustainable—without the hassle. Less talk, more action. Full-scale production, with attention to both flavour and impact.
The mission is clear: Snackwise Collective wants to become the most progressive snack producer in the Netherlands—and beyond. No bold claims, just solid plans. The first batches are already coming off the line. Anyone curious is welcome. Coffee’s on, and so are the snacks.
