Scancheck Barcode Control System

The Scancheck machine has been developed for the automatic and accurate inspection of barcodes on tray-sealed topseal products. Rejected products are gently blown off the line using an air knife, without damaging the packaging. This ensures product quality is fully maintained and rejected items can easily be reintroduced into the line.

Smart control and precise scanning

The Scancheck is designed to deliver maximum reliability at every stage of the production process. Two Datalogic barcode scanners effortlessly read both 1D and 2D codes, including EAN, QR, and Datamatrix. The machine is controlled by a Siemens PLC combined with an intuitive Weintek touchscreen. This enables operation and recipe changes to be handled simply, quickly, and efficiently. Operators can directly adjust settings such as belt speed, scanner delay, and ejection timing. The multilingual interface adds ease of use and, if required, even offers remote diagnostics via EasyAccess 2.0.

Compact, robust, and flexible

With its sturdy frame and compact dimensions (960 x 950 x 1670 mm), the Scancheck integrates easily into virtually any existing production line. The two independently adjustable conveyor belts ensure stable throughput of various products, while roller support keeps barcodes on the underside consistently readable. The combination of speed, precision, and ease of use has made the Scancheck a reliable solution for modern packaging environments, where efficiency and quality are key.
