European Regulation 1169/2011 is due to come into force on 13 December 2014. Fresh food packers face the challenge of having to change almost all labels on fresh food. Espera-Nederland BV can ease the burden with a range of solutions. Together with its partners Précon, Etiket-Nederland, Reflex Systems and Toshiba, Espera has taken part in a series of seminars to help users undertake a change programme. The logical next step is a tool for the layout of allergen and nutritional value tables. Further attention is also being focused on the management of centralised master data.
