There is a trend among producers of fresh potatoes and fries in the Benelux towards process optimisation: higher capacity with fewer people. Repak's thermoformers offer a solution that is tailored to the needs of the individual potato processor. Together with the customer, Repak examines the current process and draws up an optimisation plan. The Rapid Air Forming process and the unique Superior Sealing system drastically reduces the number of pack leaks compared to other packaging methods. The evacuation system ensures that not too much moisture is removed from the vulnerable potato products. This extends the shelf life and prevents discolouration.
