Dutch food producers and politicians gathered at Perscentrum Nieuwspoort on Tuesday, June 30. Policymakers and producers connected during the fourth edition of the NLvoedt networking event. The annual event focused on the strength of the Dutch food supply chain. In addition, healthy nutrition and peak performance were prominent topics on the agenda.

Eating healthy isn't complicated

Olympic speed skater Joep Wennemars spoke to a packed room about his experiences as a top athlete. He emphasized the importance of healthy and balanced nutrition for high-level performance. According to the skater, eating healthy absolutely does not have to be complicated. People can work on their health daily by choosing wholesome products.
