FPS - Finger Protection System - is an advanced safety system that stops a saw belt within milliseconds. The technology was developed by MADO and works with a camera-monitored belt stop system. As soon as the integrated optical sensor is activated, the band saw stops automatically. If the machine is stopped by this safety system, it can be switched on again in the normal way. Even after repeated activation of the safety system, renewal of the saw blade is not necessary. MADO band saws with FPS are available for the models MKB 751 to 754.
