  • 18 July 2023

Lekkerland Netherlands, specialist in on-the-go consumption, is to take its logistics services in Waddinxveen to the next level. As of September 2024, the new distribution center will be operational to provide even better customer care.

The modern distribution center of approx. 60,000m2 is ideally located at the exit of highway A12, in the heart of the Randstad. With this, Lekkerland increases its logistics floor space to 40,000m2 and has approximately 174 trucks at its disposal, making it a leading logistics player.

John van den Berg, Director of Operations at Lekkerland, emphasizes that the center will use efficient internal logistics processes, supported by "voice and pick-to-light picking. The building will be fully sustainable, with no gas connection, rainwater reuse and solar panels on the roof.

With this new distribution center, Lekkerland is optimally prepared for future growth and reinforces its commitment to logistics sustainability. The company is enthusiastic about the strategic location and the sustainable solutions that meet customer needs in terms of delivery reliability and assortment.

Lekkerland looks forward to its commissioning in September 2024 and continues to dedicate itself to high-quality, on-the-go consumer products with an efficient and sustainable logistics operation.
