Laser branding vegetable and fruit

You can now promote your product by using laser branding, directly branding your logo, text or message onto the skin or peel of the fruit or vegetable. Cool Port Packing Rotterdam will therefore soon no longer require paper labels! Laser branding is done in accordance with the latest European legislation and is therefore food safe and environmentally friendly.

Paper labelling adds a distinctive feature to products and makes them stand out, but also involves a substantive environmental burden. We have good news for fruit and vegetable traders wanting to stand out in the shop store-shelf, whilst also conducting business in an environmentally friendly way. As of the last quarter of 2017, Cool Port Packing Rotterdam will have its own laser branding machine!

Food safe and environmentally friendly

We know that fruit and vegetables deserve a special treatment, which is why each product is given the attention it deserves. We always put the quality of the fruit first, also for laser branding; this means that the laser was extensively tested before we decided to take it into use as early as this year. It complies with the latest European legislation and is food safe and therefore also suitable for organic products.

Showcase your corporate branding on each fruit

Laser branding can be used on a variety of fruit, regardless of the thickness of the skin or peel. A thick-skinned melon can just as easily be lasered as a thin-skinned kiwi. The customer no longer needs to choose whether he wants to label per box or per fruit, our laser automatically labels each individual fruit. We have currently conducted tests with laser branding on ginger, avocado, citrus fruit, melon and pumpkin.
