Huls BV, Dry sausage specialist

On Tuesday 3 June 2014 we paid a visit with OSV-members to Huls in Vlagtwedde, a world-famous producer of dried sausage products. Our thanks go to Denis Meis from Wensing BV for initiating this visit.

We received a warm welcome from Geert Westerhof and his colleagues. After a company presentation, we were taken on a guided tour of the factory and could see the production process for ourselves.
The next edition of Food in Business will include an article about Huls which will lift the veil on the world of dried sausage.
