  • 11 September 2023

The "Vakbeurs Food Technology" will continue as "Food Tech Event" in 2024. The Food Tech Event is scheduled for May 15 and 16 in the Brabanthallen, 's-Hertogenbosch. With this new name, Mikrocentrum, a platform organization for the high-tech and manufacturing industry, places a strong emphasis on technical applications and machine construction in production and processing environments in the food and beverage industry.

The Food Tech Event focuses on the technical solutions of today and the future for the food industry. Society demands food that is always available, convenient, tastier, healthier, fresher, and has a longer shelf life. This calls for faster, more efficient, and sustainable production processes and reduced waste.

6 core themes:

  • Machine and equipment construction for production lines.
  • Food safety and hygiene.
  • Future of food production: digitization and automation.
  • Quality management and control.
  • Energy management and savings.
  • Continuous development.

The Food Tech Event provides a platform for over 100 companies to showcase their innovations to professionals in the food and beverage industry. There are live demonstrations, introductions to start-ups, and special zones such as the Hygienic Design Network.

The primary objective is to bring together technical professionals from the food industry, such as production and team managers, engineers, purchasers, and more, to familiarize themselves with the latest techniques in their field.
