Production volumes in the food industry are often high. As a producer, you want to avoid having to recall a batch because, for example, the barcodes are unreadable. The consequences of a recall are not only financially devastating; your reputation is also damaged. "In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for an automatic control function to supplement a labelling or coding solution. Understandable, because a barcode scanner can check more quickly and more accurately than an employee with the naked eye whether the printed barcode is legible and correct," says Remco Krosenbrink, Sales Engineer at Automator.
