Empack 2022 in Eventhal Gorinchem

Trade fair Empack will be organised in the spring of 2022 in Evenementenhal Gorinchem, which is owned by exhibition organiser Easyfairs. Previous editions of Empack took place in among others the Jaarbeurs Utrecht and Brabanthallen 's-Hertogenbosch. The first edition in Gorinchem will take place on 5, 6 and 7 April 2022. As usual, in the odd-numbered years Empack will take place in Brabanthallen in 2023.

"Empack has outgrown its premises over the years. With the expansion of the ultramodern top floor Next Level in Evenementenhal Gorinchem, there is now sufficient space to accommodate the total number of exhibitors. As a concept, Empack remains very strong and with Gorinchem as a new location, we are convinced that we can boost our ambition. Empack is the event for the packaging professional. Its strength lies, among other things, in a number of new elements that we will add to the concept. Which elements they are, we will announce in due course, because first we have a great edition in Den Bosch 2021," says Rowdy van den Nieuwenhuizen, Head of Content & MarCom at Easyfairs.

Major quality boost

During the past period, Easyfairs invested heavily in its trade show location on the A15 motorway. The Next Level floor features the latest audio-visual techniques, LED lighting, a fresh, modern décor and advanced conference rooms. In addition, there is a good connection with the ground floor. This has been achieved by deploying two escalators at a central location in the current hall. But one of the most important developments for a trade fair of the size of Empack is that as of September 2021 two mega goods lifts will be used. This will make it possible to easily move all kinds of materials and goods to the new top floor Next Level in Evenementenhal Gorinchem. Finally, a new Van der Valk Hotel is being built opposite the Evenementenhal, which will have over one hundred and fifty rooms spread over thirteen floors, a casino and a cinema. Van den Nieuwenhuizen: "All this makes Gorinchem, in addition to its historic city centre, an ultimate location to welcome the packaging industry in 2022."  

Full-service concept

"During Empack in 2022, we will offer the service people have come to expect from us. Because we manage this event location ourselves, we are more flexible.
