DNA Services takes over IT management at Horizon Natuurvoeding

The IT management of Horizon Natuurvoeding will be taken over by DNA Services. With this decision, the food producer opts for an external IT partner that assumes full responsibility for managing and securing the IT environment. The collaboration was formalized in December.

Since 1978, Horizon Natuurvoeding has been active in the production and distribution of organic nut spreads, packaged nuts, dried fruits, and syrups. In addition, the company supplies organic nuts, seeds, and dried fruits to the food industry. The entire production line is managed in-house. Raw materials are sourced directly from farmer cooperatives and long-standing suppliers. The products are then processed and packaged in IJsselstein.

Full IT management outsourced

Growth and further professionalization created the need for an experienced IT partner. Horizon specifically looked for proven expertise within food, production, and trading companies. DNA Services was selected as the IT partner for the future and will take on full responsibility for IT management.

The services include automated patch management, proactive monitoring of the IT environment, and the implementation of various security solutions. Additional facilities and innovations are also applied, aimed at scalability and continuity. In addition, DNA Services supports Horizon Natuurvoeding with day-to-day IT activities and projects.
