Biobeurs returns to Apeldoorn with renewed energy

  • 30 October 2025

It all started in Apeldoorn – and that’s exactly where Biobeurs (the Dutch Organic Trade Fair) will return in 2026. On April 15 and 16, Omnisport will transform into a vibrant meeting place for everyone involved in organic entrepreneurship. Two days filled with knowledge, inspiration and connections across the organic value chain, bringing fresh energy and familiar faces together.

Chain, knowledge and inspiration at the core

Biobeurs 2026 is organized by Conexpo, together with Bionext and Libéma. The supporting associations of Bionext – BioNederland, Biohuis and the Biowinkelvereniging – are also on board. Their shared goal: to once again make the fair the central meeting point for the organic sector.

According to Frank Duller of Conexpo, the strength of Biobeurs lies in that connection. “We’re returning to the place where it all began, both literally and figuratively. The organic sector is in full motion, and right now there’s a strong need for a central meeting place where producers, traders, retailers, policymakers and researchers can come together.”

New location with a forward-looking setup

Omnisport Apeldoorn will serve as the new home base – and that choice is no coincidence. Centrally located, easily accessible, and offering ample space for meetings and idea exchange. “With this new central location in the Netherlands, Omnisport, and a fresh, forward-looking setup, Biobeurs gains an energy that reflects the vitality of the organic sector,” says Jan Groen, chair of Bionext.

On the exhibition floor, leading brands, trading partners and innovators will present their latest organic products. The new Vitality Square will focus on healthy food, exercise and lifestyle. The knowledge program will address topics such as soil quality, biodiversity, short supply chains and market development.

Meeting place for the entire sector

Biobeurs welcomes everyone active in the organic chain – from farmers to retailers, from researchers to educators. It’s not only a place to gain knowledge, but also to collaborate and build new connections. Exhibitor registration opens in November 2025 via www.bio-beurs.nl, and visitors can register from early 2026 for access to the fair and its knowledge program.
