The new OSV-YFM year got underway in style at the end of January. The Winter Barbecue had an Australian flavour thanks to the Australian grain fed beef (1788) from Jan Zandbergen. We all enjoyed this extremely tasty meat tremendously and, needless to say, it left us wanting more! You can read more about 1788 and also about 1788 Platinum here later on this year.
On 8 March we will be exploring the idea of future food safety at Kupan during an inspiring presentation by key industry experts, including none other than trendwatcher Rob Creemers. And a few weeks later, on 7 April, we will be descending on Febo in Amsterdam. That could be a rude awakening for the night owls among us because our tour starts at 7 a.m. Thereafter, our activities will take us to Toyota Material Handling followed by a company visit to AGF Excellent. Then after the summer we will take in KTBA and finally, with a bit of luck, we will visit Westfleisch in Coesfeld (Germany).
In other words, we have a full and varied programme of activities ahead of us, with plenty of opportunities to meet each other face to face and share knowledge – such as during a spot of sport on our Golf Day or at the traditional Summer Barbecue. I’m really looking forward to the coming year and I warmly invite you all to climb aboard and join us on our journey of discovery!
