The Verder Groep acquires Jabsco lobe pumps

The Verder Groep, a Dutch family firm specialising in the production and distribution of pumps and laboratory equipment, has taken over the Jabsco lobe pump product line from Xylem. The takeover strengthens the Verder Groep's offering in the food and pharmaceutical markets. During a transition period, the products will be marketed under the brand name "Jabsco by Packo" - Packo (with centrifugal, screw spindle and lobe pumps) is the main hygiene brand of the Verder Liquids pump division. 

Adding an extra footprint in the market by expanding the portfolio with Jabsco, increasing the level of hygienic knowledge and intensifying the focus on the hygienic market, will enable Verder to further increase its penetration in these growing markets.

From now on, all Jabsco lobe pumps can be purchased from the Further organisation under the new name: Jabsco by Packo.  

All other Jabsco product lines and technologies will remain in the hands of Xylem, which continues to serve various industrial sectors, as well as the recreational boat and vehicle market, as a leader in engine diaphragm (MDD), flexible impeller and sliding vane technologies.
