The end of 2017

For OSV, 2017 has already drawn to a close. The final event of the year was SmaakStampei, which was a worthy finale. We’ve made a conscious decision not to organise anything else for the next couple of months; food processing companies have their hands full with producing and delivering their Christmas ranges, and many of our members are involved in projects that will require extra attention and effort to round things off before the end of this financial year. 

I think we can safely say that this is the busiest time of the year for the whole sector – and that includes us. Was it really smart of us to decide move to new premises at this time of year? Well, it tied in with our lease expiring but, if we’re honest, it was pretty bad timing. Nevertheless, we’re delighted with our new ‘home’! 

We (b2b Communications and Wallbrink Crossmedia) had outgrown our old place, so we’re moving next door – from number 17 to number 19. 

We hope to complete the move and get everything straight in just one weekend, so that we can carry on with our core business on the following Monday morning. Of course, moving from one office building to another on the same street doesn’t have such a big impact as relocating a complete slaughterhouse from Amsterdam to Apeldoorn, and yet that project was so well organised that no production time was actually lost. Well done!

As for us, we’re looking forward to a new start and we hope to see you soon at our new address: Arnhemsestraatweg 19 in Velp.
