Sustain­able Packaging Solutions at FACHPACK 2024

At FACHPACK 2024, MULTIVAC will showcase sustainable packaging and labeling solutions, with a strong emphasis on automation, digitalization, and visual inspection.

Tray packaging with various materials

The T 305 traysealer is designed for the automatic packaging of small to medium-sized food batches. This versatile machine supports quick product changes and is suitable for a wide range of applications, including ready meals, meat, cheese, and fresh produce. The traysealer handles packaging made from cardboard, plastic, aluminum, and plastic-reducing materials like monofilms and MULTIVAC PaperBoard, all with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. During the event, the production of MAP packaging will be demonstrated.

Customized labeling with maximum automation

MULTIVAC will also present the L 310 conveyor belt labeler, offering maximum flexibility in labeling various types of packaging. This machine integrates printing, positioning, and camera inspection into a single process. Incorrect labels are automatically removed, ensuring quality. Thanks to servo technology, the labeler achieves high speeds and is available in a ‘zero-downtime’ version, allowing continuous labeling. All modules are easily controlled via a single interface, and settings are automatically adjusted for product changes. At the event, MULTIVAC will demonstrate labeling steak trays on both the top and bottom.
