NIZO food research is one of the world’s most advanced independent contract research companies. It helps manufacturers of food and raw materials to make (even) better products and boost their profitability. NIZO is internationally active in the fields of dairy, food & beverages, ingredients and the biotech industry.

Working with NIZO provides access to the latest techniques in food science and technology. In addition to the R&D projects, NIZO also has one of the world’s largest pilot plants at its disposal which can be used for product and process development and to run trial batches.
The theme of this company visit is ‘successful reformulation’. After an introduction by NIZO food research, we will receive a presentation on virtual product development. Needless to say, we will tour all the facilities as well as the pilot plant where we will be able to see, feel and taste the very latest approaches and techniques for successful reformulation.
