Samen Tegen Voedselver­spilling voucher scheme 2022

To stimulate innovations for a circular food chain, Samen Tegen Voedselverspilling (Together Against Food Waste) will also open its voucher scheme in 2022. Entrepreneurs and organisations with a good idea for preventing food waste or adding value to food waste streams can receive knowledge and expertise or a financial contribution. They can use this to further develop their business cases, for example, or to scale up an innovation to production level. The vouchers are financially facilitated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature & Food Quality and Rabobank, with support from the Regional Development Agencies. Knowledge and expertise is provided by Wageningen University & Research (WUR).

A voucher, valued between € 5,000 and € 17,500, covers half of the project costs. The company contributes the other half. The main criteria on which applications will be assessed are: the proposal must primarily focus on combating food waste; its innovative character; and the potential impact that can be achieved.
