MULTIVAC will present the latest robotics handling and packaging solutions for fish, crustacean, and shellfish processing at the 2024 Seafood Expo. The company highlights its focus on vacuum skin packaging and hygienic processing through robotics on thermoform packaging and tray sealing systems. These solutions are designed to extend shelf life, ensure attractive retail presentation, and reduce labour costs.
The MultiFresh™ packaging system, a key innovation by MULTIVAC, produces vacuum skin packaging that maintains product freshness, extends shelf life, and ensures a premium appearance in retail settings. This system reflects MULTIVAC’s commitment to functional, aesthetically pleasing, and plastic-saving packaging that enhances brand experience.
Additionally, MULTIVAC displays a variety of machinery and materials for packaging, such as the compact R 105 MF thermoform machine and the TX 730 tray sealer. The R 105 MF is ideal for smaller businesses requiring flexibility due to its compact size. The TX 730 automates packaging in pre-formed trays and is complemented by the L 310 conveyor belt labeller, which ensures visually appealing labels.
MULTIVAC's expertise in robotics is also showcased through the H 244 handling module, which processes delicate fish products hygienically using advanced delta kinematics for precise placement. These technologies highlight MULTIVAC's commitment to efficiency and safety in food processing, with a strong focus on adhering to hygiene standards and sustainability, critical for the modern food industry.
