Or perhaps you’re keen to learn about the many facets of mechanical surface finishing techniques? If so, attend the Rösler Open Days on 11 and 12 May. You can sign up for one or more workshops.
One workshop will cover working with stainless steel, which is widely used in the food industry. However, it is acknowledged that the surface roughness alone is no guarantee of a material’s optimal performance, which is why there is an ‘alternative index’ that indicates how good a surface is from a cleaning perspective. Use of the right method makes it possible to produce for longer and considerably reduces the chance of micro residues being left behind and causing contamination. The workshop will also explore improving the corrosion resistance.
