PALI Geldrop Halts Slaughtering Operations

PALI Group has decided to close its own pig slaughterhouse, known as 'PALI Geldrop.' The decision stems from limitations in the permit, preventing further expansion in Geldrop. Slaughtering activities will be transferred to Compaxo starting April 1, 2024. PALI Group is strengthening its collaboration with Compaxo, a partnership that has spanned over two decades in the field of pork and pig products. A portion of the slaughtered pigs will then undergo processing at PALI Meat in Oss.

Compaxo Group fulfills its long-standing wish to expand operations in the Zevenaar division. Acquiring the slaughtering activities of PALI Geldrop allows Compaxo to maximize the use of its recently constructed facilities in Zevenaar. This expansion enables Compaxo to achieve its goals and deepen its collaboration with PALI Group. Compaxo will continue its current approach to pork supply, anticipating approval from the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) for the proposed collaboration.
