Organic Flavour Company (OFC), the Dutch specialist in organic tea, herbs and spices, has appointed DNA Services as its new IT partner. With this decision, the Veenendaal-based producer aims to support further growth and meet increasing demands in IT management.
Founded in 1979, OFC has been fully dedicated to organic agriculture from day one. The company supplies private label tea and herbs to supermarkets, organic retailers, and the food industry across Europe. Bulk packaging is also part of its offering. Continued growth prompted the search for a reliable IT partner with proven experience in the food, manufacturing and trade sectors.
DNA Services will take over complete IT management, including security solutions. The partnership covers automated patch management, proactive monitoring of the IT environment, and innovations focused on scalability and business continuity. DNA will also handle day-to-day IT operations and provide project support.
Steven Kleinjan, Managing Director at OFC, explains: “A solid IT foundation is essential to our business, and OFC has ambitious growth plans. We’re setting increasingly strict requirements when it comes to security, continuity, and following the right procedures.” Strong references from within the network ultimately tipped the balance.
In January, a photo session took place on location at OFC. Shortly afterwards, the contracts were signed digitally, and DNA began managing the IT environment. “We’re grateful for the trust placed in us by OFC,” says Hans de Wit of DNA Services.
