After five years DGS has grown out of the existing premises. For this reason DGS decided to build a new production location with offices across the street.
"We started in Haaksbergen just over five years ago," says owner Dennis Grolleman. "During the design of the new building, which was made by Bessels Architects from Twello, a lot of attention was paid to a good flow. We pay attention to that for our customers and of course we will soon be setting up our own production facility extremely efficiently".
The tender for the new building has now been completed and the groundwork will start next month (February 2020). The building will be realised on the other side of the road. There will be a central reception area; separate rooms for the sawmill, welding and electrical work will also be housed in the new building. The subassemblies will come together in the central assembly area. The whole has a good flow and is therefore extremely efficient. Eventually, 4,200 m2 of production space and 1,000 m2 of office space will become available. The plot offers space for future expansions. DGS can therefore continue to grow, but time will tell.
