With growing interest in plant-based foods, Kips is expanding its range to include a plant-based alternative to cream cheese. The launch of this new product line marks a significant expansion in Kips's range of plant-based spreads.
Kips’s product developers have drawn on their experience with plant-based spreads to develop this new line. Initially, the focus was on experimenting with flavor and texture. After various tests and adjustments, the optimal flavor formulation was determined. The plant-based cream cheese alternative, made from pea protein, promises a creamy and refreshing experience.
The new product will be available from week 14 at Superunie members, with Albert Heijn following in week 22. Consumers can choose from flavors such as Mango & Ginger and Garden Herbs. This plant-based cream cheese will be located on the shelves alongside Kips's other vegan products.
