Interpack 2023

Interpack 2023, the world's largest packaging trade fair, was held in Düsseldorf from May 4-10, 2023, under the slogan "Welcome Home." The fair exceeded expectations, with 2,807 exhibitors showcasing the latest packaging industry solutions and technologies to visitors from 155 countries, with 143,000 visitors attending, of which two-thirds were from overseas.

The fair's primary focus was on four major themes: circular economy, resource management, digital technologies, and product safety, all of which found concrete expression in numerous innovations. Sustainable packaging was a hot topic at Interpack 2023, with companies presenting high-end technologies and concepts that consider efficiency and sustainability along the entire production line.

Interpack 2023 also served as a content hub for the industry, both live and digitally, with a total of 50 talks hosted at the Tightly Packed TV studio, generating additional visibility and reach of the top themes and trends through live streams. The Spotlight Talks & Trends Forum was a visitor magnet, with daily sessions focusing on seven themes, including logistics, circular economy, and e-commerce, presented by interpack, the dfv Conference Group, and PackReport.

The fair also featured several Specials, including the interpack Start-up Zone, the joint stand Co-Packing, award ceremonies highlighting exciting packaging innovations, the 'SAVE FOOD Highlight-Route' with new approaches to fighting global food loss and waste, and the promotion of women in packaging, which attracted approximately 200 women from the international sector, exchanging and establishing new networks during Interpack 2023.

The next Interpack will be held in Düsseldorf from May 7-13, 2026. The trade fair provides a unique opportunity for suppliers and users from all over the world to exchange experiences and do business, making it an essential event for anyone in the packaging and processing industry.
