Global Flexibles acquired by Dimensio

On 3 January 2022, Global Flexibles Europe B.V. (GFE) became part of the Dimensio group.

Bert Verheij - former owner of GFE - commented on the acquisition: "After more than 21 years of hard work building up our beautiful family business, it was time to take important steps with a view to the future of Global Flexibles. You only make the decision to take over the company if you are certain that you are dealing with the right party, one that fits in with the company's culture and with whom you can build further. With the takeover by Dimensio, Global Flexibles can continue to grow and expand its programme".

Caspar Jacobs, entrepreneur and owner of Dimensio Verpakkingen: "We are very pleased that GFE is going to strengthen our group and help increase the share of Dimensio's presence in food packaging in Europe. Our food packaging companies, Havelaar Verpakkingen, Chocapack and Global Flexibles Europe, form a strong unit for growth within the food packaging market".

GFE will continue to operate in its current form and at the same address in Krimpen aan den IJssel. The management, consisting of Bert Verheij, Johannes den Hartogh and Dick Kuperus, will continue to be responsible for the day-to-day operations.
