Cleaning in the food industry is not done the same way everywhere. In fact, most companies work with a completely individual and unique cleaning plan. "The role of the cleaner has changed: from generalist to specialist, from mere executor to executor and advisor with expertise. We work according to the client's wishes," says Irene Groenen, area manager at Hago Food & Industry. "Drawing up a good cleaning plan to ensure food safety is a complex process that sometimes takes up to three months." What makes a unique cleaning plan so important? Irene explains.
