Boboli Benelux strengthens Unibake’s European growth strategy

Lantmännen Unibake has acquired Boboli Benelux B.V., a Dutch bakery company known for savoury items such as focaccias, pizzas, and pizza bases. The acquisition supports Unibake’s ambitions in the growing European market for savoury baked goods.

Boboli Benelux operates in the Benelux, the UK, and Germany, employing around 200 people. Its modern bakery in Bunschoten becomes Unibake’s first production site in the Netherlands. In 2024, Boboli reported net sales of approximately €50 million.

Strategic growth and production capacity

The acquisition fits Lantmännen Unibake’s broader strategy to strengthen its position in the bake-off market. Boboli adds not only scale and capacity, but also specialist expertise and a solid track record of growth.
