Agrifirm is taking a significant step for the Dutch agricultural sector. The cooperative has officially joined the STORL scheme. Recently, Leon van Mullekom and Gerard Top signed the agreement to formalize this new partnership. As a result, growers will find it much easier to recycle their empty cans in a responsible manner from now on.
Customers of Agrifirm products can now easily hand in their empty cans to STORL. This specifically concerns rinsed plastic packaging from Agrifirm's own product lines. The collection is organized nationwide and provides direct peace of mind right on the farm. According to the partners, this initiative contributes significantly to high-quality recycling across all cultivation sectors.
In 2026, the campaign will also focus on the disposal of obsolete products. Professional users can simply register their leftovers and expired stocks through the portal. This disposal is even free of charge for quantities up to 50 kilos or liters. This ensures that old stocks don't pile up and that the disposal process remains fully responsible.
Anyone wishing to use the scheme should keep a close eye on the calendar. Registration for this collection round already closes on March 31, 2026. You can sign up directly via the STORL portal, which also lists all terms and conditions. With this move, Agrifirm emphasizes its commitment to practical and responsible product use within the industry.
