In the first half of 2022, China's pork imports fell by more than half (73.7 per cent) compared to the same period in 2021. The main reason for the decline is China's higher domestic pork production. Chinese pork production increased by 8.2 per cent to 29.4 million, according to Chinese government figures. This is what Agra Europe reports.
