Wolvega Vlees chooses for higher capacity

Recently, Sismatec in Almelo installed a completely overhauled Treif Waran at Wolvega Vlees. The company had been working with a Treif Twister dicer for quite some time. A great machine for cutting cubes and strips. "In discussions with Sismatec, we expressed our desire to be able to cut at a higher capacity. Currently we have to temper products back before we can put them in the cutting room where they are cut to size. This requires a lot of handling and time," says Roelof Koning of Wolvega Vlees.

Sismatec is the Treif dealer for the Netherlands. "There would be a Treif Waran coming back from the market. This Waran can cut frozen product and has a considerably larger cutting chamber. An automatic infeed and outfeed conveyor makes the process more stable, much faster and therefore results in better quality. No-nonsense, clear instructions and being able to start up quickly is what particularly appeals to me in the way we do business with Sismatec," said August de Jong (see photo). "Now we can also handle a larger market because of this capacity improvement."
