VIRTO Group acquires Oerlemans

Virto Group, the leading Spanish producer and distributor of frozen vegetables, has acquired Oerlemans Foods Group. Oerlemans is a producer and supplier of fresh frozen fruit and vegetables based in Waalwijk, the Netherlands.

The acquisition strengthens Virto's position in the growing international market for fresh frozen fruit and vegetables. Joining forces with Oerlemans offers significant synergy benefits in multiple areas and enables Virto to meet the growing demand from customers.

The acquisition will enable both companies to achieve synergy benefits with their specialisations.
